Yukgaejang is a spicy, rich Korean soup made with brisket, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and scallions in bone broth, and it’s been perfected at this small, no-frills spot.
Although there are a couple restaurants serving this hearty soup dish in Koreatown in Los Angeles, Yuk Dae Jang is the first US location of a popular Korean chain restaurant specializing in Yuk gae jang and could be one of the best in all of Los Angeles!
Delicious korean restaurant specializing in bosaam, pork belly, soups, dumplings and cold noodles. Their kimchi is delicious, really liked everything we had. Service was very friendly!
Now Yukdaejang is drawing crowds to a blue fenced strip mall on K-Town’s east side. This popular chain from Seoul opened on December 1, 2016. Decor includes white walls lined with dish photos and a covered patio with blue tile roof. Bibs are available upon request to shield splatter from yuk gae jang, their signature, fire-red beef noodle soup.
